Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SonarID platform operated by SonarID Inc. (“SonarID,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using SonarID, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

SonarID is a customer intelligence platform for Shopify merchants. We analyze customer data from your connected Shopify store to identify high-value individuals such as influencers, investors, executives, and press contacts. We deliver alerts via Slack and email when VIP customers are detected.

2. Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SonarID.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must have authorization to connect any Shopify store to SonarID and to access the customer data within it.

3. Billing and Payments

  • SonarID offers subscription plans billed monthly. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice.
  • Enrichment credits are charged at $0.03 per customer lookup. Prepaid credit packages are available.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service for payment processing.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue through the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. If you cancel within the trial period, you will not be charged. After the trial, subscription fees are non-refundable. Unused enrichment credits are non-refundable but do not expire while your account is active.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use SonarID to harass, stalk, or spam identified individuals
  • Resell or redistribute enrichment data obtained through SonarID
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use SonarID in violation of applicable laws, including privacy regulations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our platform
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or use automated tools to abuse our enrichment APIs

6. Data Processing

By connecting your Shopify store, you authorize SonarID to access and process customer data as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents to share this customer data with SonarID for enrichment purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

SonarID and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SonarID Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we do not claim ownership of any customer data you provide.

8. Limitation of Liability

SonarID is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of enrichment data. In no event shall SonarID be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to SonarID in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of SonarID after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
